Job Title: Maintenance Millwright

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Millwright to join a heavy industrial operations team in Hamilton, Ontario. This is a hands-on maintenance role focused on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical systems within a continuous production environment.The ideal candidate is a licensed Red Seal Millwright with strong mechanical experience in industrial settings, comfortable working in physically demanding conditions, and committed to safe work practices. - Follow all safety policies and promote safe work practices at all times
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Install, align, move, and dismantle industrial equipment including conveyors, pumps, tanks, and fans
- Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems, including PLC-related equipment
- Assemble and prepare machinery using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Operate lifting and rigging equipment such as cranes, hoists, and jacks
- Machine and fabricate replacement parts using drills, grinders, and related tools
- Inspect equipment to identify wear, faults, and operational issues
- Perform routine preventative maintenance including lubrication, cleaning, and part replacement
- Repair or replace defective components as required
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, housekeeping, and operational reliability
- Licensed Red Seal Industrial Mechanic Millwright certification
- Experience in industrial or heavy equipment maintenance environments
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions (lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, confined spaces, dusty environments)
- Strong safety awareness and compliance with PPE requirements (including respirator fit requirements where applicable)
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment

The hourly rate is $41.84 CAD per hour.
This is a full-time on-site role in Hamilton, Ontario, requiring availability for all three shifts.
