Fuze HR is currently hiring an experienced Certified Double Deep Reach Forklift Operator for a busy production and warehouse environment in Brampton.
Position OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Operator with strong experience operating a Toyota Double Deep Reach forklift in a fast-paced production facility. This role requires attention to detail, strong attendance, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Toyota Double Deep Reach forklift safely and efficiently
- Load and unload materials within warehouse and production areas
- Replenish production materials and perform put-aways
- Support shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities
- Perform daily forklift inspections and safety checks
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Assist with general warehouse duties including sweeping, hand-packing, and material handling
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Double Deep Reach Forklift License
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift experience
- Experience operating Toyota-brand reach equipment preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Clear criminal background check required
- WHMIS / Health & Safety certifications required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Comfortable working in a dusty and loud manufacturing environment
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attendance record
Working Conditions
- Very dusty and noisy warehouse environment
- Continuous standing and heavy lifting required
- PPE required at all times:
- Steel-toed safety shoes
- Safety gloves
- Mask / N95 mask
- Apron and arm sleeves
- Unionized environment with minimal overtime
- Coffee provided onsite
- No lockers available; personal belongings stored in lunchroom
- Candidates must not have dust sensitivities or allergies due to exposure to construction-related materials and chemical products.
- Candidates will complete an onsite forklift evaluation on their first day.
- A math test is also required for consideration toward permanent employment.
- Successful candidates may train on day shift before transition into regular assignment.
