The Talent Acquisition Coordinator provides essential administrative and logistical coordination to recruitment and talent acquisition programs and processes. ABOUT THE ROLE
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator provides essential administrative and logistical support to Alberici Canada's recruitment and talent acquisition activities. This role supports candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, recruitment systems administration, onboarding coordination, employer branding initiatives, and recruitment reporting. The position plays a key role in delivering an exceptional candidate experience while helping the organization attract and retain top talent.
Key Responsibilities
Provides essential administrative support and logistical coordination to various talent acquisition programs and processes.
Coordinates recruitment activities, including job postings, applicant tracking, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
Supports administrative processes related to recruitment, hiring, and onboarding activities.
Coordinates interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and interview teams, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Manages recruitment systems and maintains accurate candidate records and hiring documentation.
Assists with candidate sourcing activities, talent pipeline development, and recruitment marketing initiatives.
Supports employer branding efforts through career fairs, campus recruitment events, networking opportunities, and social media initiatives.
Coordinates pre-employment activities including reference checks, background checks, employment documentation, and onboarding requirements.
Develops and maintains recruitment guides, templates, standard operating procedures, metrics, and reporting.
Prepares and analyzes recruitment metrics, hiring reports, and talent acquisition dashboards to support business decisions.
Answers questions and provides information to candidates, employees, and leaders related to recruitment processes, policies, and procedures.
Responds to recruitment matters with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
Acts in confidence and with trust when handling sensitive and confidential information.
Continuously improves recruitment programs and processes, including researching best practices and recommending enhancements based on candidate and hiring manager feedback.
Supports workforce planning and talent acquisition initiatives in partnership with hiring managers and business leaders.
Support and lead other talent acquisition programs and initiatives as required; this includes supporting onboarding, employer branding, workforce planning, and other recruitment-related activities.
Act as a core team member of the People & Culture team, providing support and guidance to team members and contributing to a collaborative and productive work environment.
Contribute positively to Alberici's culture, values, and safe environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Post-secondary education in Business, Human Resources, Communications or related field is required
- 1-3 years of Human Resources or administrative support experience required
- Knowledge and experience with human resources programs, processes, and employment laws and regulations
- Experience with HRIS systems (or willingness to learn)
- Working towards or obtained Certified Human Resources Professional/Leader preferred
- Ability to travel within the greater Toronto area; Ontario driver's license and/or appropriate mode of transportation to project sites required
