Role SummaryPTW is seeking a certified JourneymanElectrician to join our team in Alberta. This role involves maintenance and industrial oil field instrumentation work in a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and experienced in troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting industrial electrical and instrumentation systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform maintenance and industrial oil field instrumentation work
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations
- Complete required job documentation, reports, and maintenance records accurately
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, project teams, and other trades
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
- Certified JourneymanElectrician required
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance and industrial oil field instrumentation experience
- Oil and gas industry experience is an asset
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as within a team environment
- Reliable and dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety
- Valid safety certifications required:
- H2S Alive
- Standard First Aid
- Fall Protection
- AWP
- Valid driver's license required
- Journeyman rate: $45/hour
- Shift: 5/2
- Working hours: 10 hours per day
