- Strong understanding of metal stamping, welding processes, and tooling/fabrication environments.
- Software & Standards: Proficiency in 3D CAD software (like SolidWorks or Siemens NX) and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Guiding tooling and stamping programs from the purchase order through to full-scale production.
- Design & Engineering Oversight: Reviewing tooling and equipment designs, and running cross-functional design review meetings.
- Budget Tracking: Establishing and maintaining project budgets while managing suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Customer Collaboration: Acting as the primary technical point of contact to update clients on build status and quality requirements
