CNC Operator---Afternoons

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for operating CNC machines. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Operate CNC machinery for production to established production rates - Setup and operate CNC machinery, including Lathe and Milling Machines for production - Read and interpret drawings to maintain required machine tolerances on parts - Modify and adjust CNC machining programs and offsets to meet drawing specifications - Use various precision measuring instruments to conduct First-off and in-process inspections - Operate manual machines as required - Use measuring instruments to maintain required machine tolerances. - Ability to hold required tolerances through machine offsets, tooling replacement including inserts - Complete other production related tasks as directed by supervisor - Package and apply proper identification of machined parts - Follow standard work practice-method sheet and instructions - Maintain good housekeeping, follow lean Manufacturing Process and FEM requirements - Report to the supervisor any damages or malfunction of the equipment and tools - Wear appropriate safety equipment - Adhere to company policies and safety rules - Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor Accommodations are available upon request for all individuals with disabilities taking part in the recruitment and selection process.
