Full Time Furnace Operator A leading global producer in Mississauga, has an opening for a full time Furnace Operator. What You Bring: - Certificate in heat treatment - Licensed in Forklift and Overhead Crane - High School Diploma - Strong attention to detail - Experience and knowledge of furnace operations and inspections Perks Immediate Opening! Full Time hours $28-$35/hr depending on experience Responsibilities - Operate and Monitor vacuum, atmosphere and nitriding furnaces - Familiar with forklifts and overhead cranes - Prepare loads for heat treatment furnaces - Perform minor furnace or equipment maintenance and cleaning - Inspections - Perform Sand blasting parts when required - Replacing gases when needed - Report potential risks or issues - Regular house keeping of the shop floor - Manage furnace logs APPLY NOW! The role pays $28.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience.
This is a full-time position based in Mississauga, Ontario (listed as Toronto, ON in location; please note the employer is ABL Employment).
Candidates need a certificate in heat treatment, a forklift and overhead crane license, and a high school diploma.
You will operate and monitor vacuum, atmosphere and nitriding furnaces, prepare loads for heat treatment, perform minor furnace maintenance and cleaning, inspections, sand blasting when required, replace gases, and manage furnace logs.
