Job Responsibilities: - Maintain books of account (including but not limited to preparing checks, coding and posting invoices, preparing deposits, journal entries, reconciliations, petty cash) - Tracking commissions from various vendors and allocating them to the correct advisor - Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements for advisors - Liaise with staff and support them in bookkeeping needs related to their program areas - Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable - Maintain year-end working papers and spreadsheets, and assist with preparation for any audits or independent reviews - Complete monthly reconciliation for all accounts (bank and brokerage accounts) - Maintain current knowledge of regulatory changes and impacts on the organization's books of account - Complete all payroll functions: process monthly payroll, submit remittances, process ROE's, generate T4's, etc. Requirements: - Post-secondary education in a related field - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Excellent attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership - Outstanding data entry skills - Ability to manage changing priorities - Familiarity with payroll processes and systems - Basic understanding of accounting principles - General proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel preferred - Understanding of federal and provincial payroll regulations (an asset) - Analytical and quantitative skills APPLY NOW! This is a full-time, on-site position located in Waterdown, ON.
The role completes all payroll functions, including processing monthly payroll, submitting remittances, processing ROEs, and generating T4s.

Post-secondary education in a related field, strong organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail, data entry ability, familiarity with payroll processes, and basic accounting knowledge are required.
