Heavy Duty Forestry Mechanic

We are currently looking for a Full Time Licensed Heavy Duty Forestry Mechanic. (3rd Year Apprentice and/or Contract mechanics are also welcome to apply.)

This would be a remote field position in the Drayton Valley/Edson area operating our Service Truck. A strong knowledge in repair and maintenance of forestry equipment is a requirement. All applicants must have and retain, at minimum, a Class 5 driver's license and a clean abstract.

· Strong troubleshooting skills in hydraulics and electrical

· Clearly communicate with supervisors and operators

· Must be prepared to work in all weather conditions when repairs are required

· Commitment to safety, professionalism and quality workmanship

· Properly complete required repair & maintenance records as well as admin paperwork

· Perform regular inspections on equipment as required

In addition, welding experience & basic knowledge of log trucks & trailers would be an asset.
