Security Guard - Various Shifts

Allied Universal is seeking Security Professionals in Chatham, Ontario.

Pay Rate: $18.32 per hour

Shifts : Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri and Sat; (07:00-19:00) & Various shifts.

Overview:

Allied Universal is currently hiring Security Professionals in Chatham, ON to provide professional, front-line security services. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills, able to work night shifts, a professional demeanor, and willing to work with a dynamic team.

Requirement:

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm .
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid Ontario security guard license
• Drivers License is considered an an asset.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada for 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
• Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, manage the movement of guests at various points throughout the property etc.
• Ensure that the facility's safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training
