Service Technician – G2 Gas Fitter

Location: Blue Mountain, ON (servicing Blue Mountain, Meaford & Amberley)

Compensation & Earnings

• $27–$35 per hour (based on experience)

• 5% uncapped commission on completed work

• Expected earnings: $80,000 – $100,000+

• High performers can exceed $100K

Schedule

• Monday to Friday – 7:00 AM start

• Typical finish between 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

• Occasional Saturdays during peak season

Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed G2 Gas Fitter to perform the installation, inspection, service, and repair of residential gas fireplaces. This is a hands-on field role suited to a safety-focused technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair gas fireplaces

• Complete work orders in compliance with Ontario gas safety codes

• Communicate clearly with customers and address service-related concerns

• Coordinate with dispatch and internal teams to complete jobs efficiently

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites

Qualifications

• Valid G2 Gas Technician License (Ontario)

• Minimum 2 years of residential gas fitting experience

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability

• Valid driver's license with a clean abstract

• WETT certification considered an asset

• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying weather conditions

• Strong communication and organizational skills
