Our client, a very successful privately owned company in the health care industry with nearly 200 employees, is seeking an ER & Critical Care Administrator to join their team in Surrey. The successful candidate will be joining a highly respected organization with passionate team who are very proud of the work they do every day.
Key Responsibilities
  • Doctor Support: Serve as the primary intake for non-urgent doctor questions and concerns; triage issues to the appropriate pathways
  • Systemic Advocacy: Track recurring issues and escalate systemic patterns to leadership to ensure long-term solutions.
  • Strategic Scheduling: Coordinate, schedule and prepare agendas for meetings for teams of doctors and Medical Advisory Committee. Arrange meetings and work with People and Culture Manager on relevant employee matters. Follow up with meeting notes.
  • Program Logistics: Organize and manage Continuing Education,
  • Growth Identification: Identify training needs based on case trends, observed knowledge gaps, and doctor feedback.
  • Track the development of departmental protocols and follow up with relevant parties on drafting and reviewing policies to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure all policies are documented, distributed, and clearly understood by the relevant parties.
  • Track assignments and rotation timelines; monitor the team schedule to flag staffing gaps to leadership.
The Successful Candidate
  • Previous experience as an Executive Assistant or providing high-level administrative support is essential. Experience in a healthcare environment is a significant asset.
  • A diploma or degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • A leader who commands respect and remains a calm influence when the team is stressed.
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to facilitate meetings, manage training and development, and create reports that outline trends with suggested solutions.
  • Technologically inclined and have strong Excel / MS Office skills
