Role:Our client are seeking a Technical Manager to oversee the technical aspects of our senior living interior design projects. As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that designs comply with building codes and regulations, are technically accurate, and feasible. You will work with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that designs are coordinated with other building systems and constructed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:• Review and approve drawings and plans to ensure technical accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that designs are coordinated with other building systems and meet high construction standards.
• Conduct site visits to assess construction progress and address technical issues.
• Manage the technical team's workflow, assign tasks, set deadlines, and provide guidance and feedback.
• Ensure the technical team has access to necessary resources and tools to complete their work.
• Stay current on the latest design and construction technologies and trends.
Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in technical management in the interior design industry, preferably in the senior living space.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
