JOB SUMMARY

AsDigitalDirector(MatLeaveContract) at 1Milk2Sugars, you will lead the overall strategy, performance, and day-to-day operations of the agencys Digital department during a maternity leave coverage period of 1218 months, with the potential to transition into a permanent rolebasedonbusinessneedsandperformance.

Inthisrole,youwillactastheseniorleaderresponsibleforbothdepartmental oversight and key client leadership, ensuring the successful delivery of integrated digital, content, influencer, and paid media programs. You will guide a multidisciplinary team of digital strategists, account leads, and specialists, driving operational excellence, creative innovation, and measurable performance across all accounts.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

DepartmentLeadership&StrategicOversight

  • LeadtheoverallDigitaldepartmentstrategy,structure,andperformance,ensuringalignmentwithagencygoalsandgrowthplans.
  • Serveasaseniorleaderwithintheagency,contributingtoagency-wideplanning,priorities,andoperationaldirection.
  • Owntheevolutionofthedigitalserviceoffering,identifyingopportunitiesforinnovation,expansion,andcapabilitybuilding.
  • Establishandmaintainbestpractices,workflows,andstandardsacrossalldigitalaccountstoensureconsistencyandexcellence.
  • Leadcross-functionalcollaborationwithPR,Influencer,andCreativeteamstoensurefullyintegratedcampaigndelivery.

TeamLeadership&Development

  • Lead,mentor,anddevelopateamofDigitalAccountDirectors/Managers,Coordinators,andSpecialists.
  • Providecleardirection,structure,andaccountabilityacrossallaccountteams.
  • Overseeworkloaddistribution,resourcing,andprioritizationacrossthedepartment.
  • Driveperformancemanagement,coaching,andprofessionaldevelopmentplanning.
  • WorkcloselywithHRonrecruitment,onboarding,andtalentdevelopmentprograms,includingupskillinginitiativesforthedigitalteam.
  • Fosterahigh-performance,collaborative,andgrowth-orientedteamculture.

ClientLeadership&AccountOversight

  • Actastheseniorstrategicleadacrosskeydigitalaccounts,ensuringalignmentwithclientbusinessobjectives.
  • Overseeclientrelationshipsataseniorlevel,actingasatrustedadvisortoexecutivestakeholders.
  • Providestrategicoversightonintegrateddigitalprogramsincludingorganicsocial,paidmedia,influencermarketing,andcontentinitiatives.
  • EnsurestrongperformancemanagementacrossallaccountsthroughKPItracking,reporting,andoptimization.
  • Leadorsupportkeyclientmeetings,quarterlyreviews,andstrategicplanningsessions.
  • Identifyanddriveopportunitiesforaccountgrowth,retention,andexpandedscopesofwork.

Strategy,Content&CampaignLeadership

  • Overseethedevelopmentandexecutionofintegrateddigitalstrategiesacrossallplatforms,includingInstagram,TikTok,Facebook,Pinterest,LinkedIn,YouTube,andemergingchannels.
  • Leadcontentstrategydevelopment,editorialplanning,andcampaignroadmapcreation.
  • Reviewandapprovestrategicrecommendations,campaignconcepts,andcreativeoutputspriortoclientdelivery.
  • Ensurecontentandcampaignqualityalignswithbrandstrategy,performancegoals,andplatformbestpractices.
  • Translatedata,insights,andanalyticsintoactionablestrategicrecommendations.

PaidMedia&PerformanceOversight

  • OverseepaidmediastrategyandexecutionacrossMeta,TikTok,Pinterest,LinkedIn,andGoogleAds.
  • Ensurecampaignsareoptimizedforperformance,efficiency,andROI.
  • Guideperformanceanalysisandreportingtocontinuouslyimprovecampaignoutcomes.
  • Partnerwithinternalspecialistsandexternalpartnerstomaximizedigitalimpact.
  • WorkcloselywithSEOandanalyticssupporttoimprovefull-funnelperformance.

Operational&FinancialOversight

  • Overseedepartmentresourcing,budgeting,andprofitabilityacrossalldigitalaccounts.
  • Ensureaccurateforecasting,tracking,andreportingusinginternalsystems(e.g.Forecast).
  • MaintainoversightofMSAs,SOWs,timelines,anddeliverablequalityacrossallaccounts.
  • Identifyandimplementprocessimprovementstoincreaseefficiencyandscalability.
  • Ensurestrongfinancialdisciplineacrossalldigitalmandates.

BusinessDevelopment&AgencyGrowth

  • Support new business efforts, includingpitches,RFPs,andproposaldevelopment.
  • ContributetothegrowthoftheDigitalserviceofferingandagencypositioning.
  • Stayaheadofdigitaltrends,platformchanges,andemergingtechnologiestoinformagencyinnovation.
  • DevelopthoughtleadershipandstrategicPOVstostrengthenagencymarketpresence.

QUALIFICATIONS&SKILLS

  • 10+yearsofexperienceindigitalmarketing,socialmedia,orintegratedcommunications(agencyexperiencestronglypreferred).
  • Provenexperienceinleadingteamsandoverseeingmulti-clientportfoliosataseniorlevel.
  • Strongbackgroundindigitalstrategy,contentmarketing,influencermarketing,andpaidmedia.
  • Deep understanding of platform ecosystems, including Meta, TikTok, Google, Pinterest, and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Experiencemanagingseniorclientrelationshipsandexecutivestakeholders.
  • Strongoperationalandfinancialacumenwithexperienceoverseeingbudgetsandprofitability.
  • Excellentleadership,mentorship,andteamdevelopmentcapabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
