Set-Up Technician in Plastic's

We are hiring for a Set up tech on behalf of our client. You will receive jobs from the supervisor or lead hand, which in turn will make you be responsible for preparing the tool that completed a production run for removal from the machine The removal preparation includes spraying the mold with protect, blowing out waterlines, removing the tool from the machine, tagging the tool properly and returning the tool to its proper storage location or toolroom if repair is needed Setting up the next tool as well as all equipment operators that would be required to complete the production order Confer with one of the material handlers so they are aware of a change allowing them to prepare accordingly Responsible for starting the process and producing a first off QC approval Requirements: Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience Be able to read blueprints Ability to work individually but be a team player Strong attendance record Attention to detail Experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel (Powerpoint is a bonus) Overhead crane experience (is an asset) Lift truck operator experience (is an asset) Accommodations are available upon request for all individuals with disabilities taking part in the recruitment and selection process.
