We are currently hiring Cooks for temporary assignments in Edmonton, AB. This role is ideal for experienced culinary professionals who are dependable, organized, and committed to preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Edmonton, AB
Pay Rate: $24.92/hour
Schedule: Morning & Afternoon Shifts | Weekdays & Weekends Available
Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans and dietary requirements
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control standards are met
• Follow safe food handling, sanitation, and infection control procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Assist with inventory control and proper food storage
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff
  

Requirements:

• Previous cooking experience required (institutional, healthcare, or commercial kitchen experience considered an asset)
• Valid Food Safe Certification (or equivalent)
• Must be able to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
