Ruth and Naomis Mission has been serving the Chilliwack community for over 20 years. What began as handing out sandwiches in downtown Chilliwack has grown into a multi-site organization supporting hundreds of individuals each day through shelter, recovery, outreach, housing, and community programs.

About the Role
We are seeking an Executive Assistant who will serve as a key support and thought partner to the Executive Director.
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, highly organized, and able to anticipate needs in a fast-paced environment. The Executive Assistant will help coordinate the rhythm of leadership and board work, support organizational initiatives and projects, and ensure strong follow-through across priorities.
This is more than a traditional administrative role we are looking for someone who takes initiative, thinks critically, and helps drive momentum forward.
What Youll Do
Manage Executive Director scheduling, priorities, and meeting coordination
Coordinate board meetings, packages, agendas, and minutes
Track action items, EOS rocks, and organizational priorities
Support project coordination and leadership initiatives
Prepare reports, presentations, and leadership documentation
Help maintain strong communication and follow-through across teams
What You Bring
Experience providing executive-level or senior administrative support
Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills
Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative proactively
Experience supporting leadership teams or board processes preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Alignment with the mission and values of Ruth & Naomis Mission
Compensation & Benefits
Salary of $65,000 $68,000 dependent on experience

Schedule
Full-time, in-office position
MondayFriday, 8:00am4:00pm
Additional hours and occasional travel between Chilliwack locations may be required
