TAPP Workforce Solutions is seeking a Sonographer on behalf of our expanding diagnostic imaging client located in Calgary, Alberta. The clinic takes pride in delivering superior medical imaging services and is recognized as a leader in Musculoskeletal, Women's and Obstetrical Imaging, Interventional Radiology, and Pain Management. Their subspecialty-trained Radiologists and highly skilled clinical and support staff work collaboratively to provide exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional, compassionate care to create an exceptional patient experience
  • Anticipate patient needs, answer questions, and maintain a comfortable, safe clinical environment
  • Review examinations for appropriateness and patient eligibility
  • Obtain patient history and educate patients on upcoming exams
  • Demonstrate competence in abdominal, obstetrical, small parts, venous, carotid Doppler, and assist with interventional procedures
  • Additional competencies—musculoskeletal, arterial Doppler, transrectal, and neuro sonography—considered an asset
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong independent judgment
  • Apply critical thinking when assessing complex pathologies
  • Communicate clearly with staff and patients
  • Contribute to a collaborative, team-focused environment within the ultrasound department and across the clinic

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate from a recognized Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
  • Experience in a clinic or hospital setting considered an asset
  • Registration in good standing with Sonography Canada
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate: $43–$58/hr, commensurate with experience

Shifts
Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm, with flexibility for occasional evening and/or weekend shifts.
