Role Summary

PTW is seeking a Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team in Calgary. This role supports the execution of internal and external marketing and communications strategies that engage employees, clients, and stakeholders. The successful candidate will develop content, support branding initiatives, and help strengthen PTW's overall communications presence across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Help shape and execute PTW's internal and external communications strategy, ensuring employees, clients, and stakeholders stay informed, engaged, and connected
  • Create compelling content that brings PTW's story to life through employee spotlights, leadership communications, company announcements, newsletters, and digital campaigns
  • Serve as a brand champion, ensuring consistent messaging, voice, and visual identity across all communication channels
  • Partner with Operations, HR, and Leadership teams to develop communication plans that support organizational initiatives, business growth, and change management efforts
  • Drive employer branding initiatives that position PTW as an employer of choice across Western Canada and beyond
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to develop innovative recruitment marketing campaigns that attract top talent
  • Create engaging job advertisements, career site content, recruitment videos, social media campaigns, and talent attraction materials
  • Showcase PTW's culture, people, projects, and values through authentic storytelling and creative content development
  • Develop impactful marketing collateral, including presentations, brochures, project profiles, case studies, and digital assets
  • Support and execute marketing campaigns that strengthen brand awareness, enhance market visibility, and support business development efforts
  • Plan, manage, and maintain content calendars to ensure timely and strategic communication across multiple platforms
  • Manage and grow PTW's digital presence through social media, website content, SharePoint, and internal communication channels
  • Identify opportunities to elevate PTW's brand through thought leadership, industry storytelling, and digital engagement initiatives
  • Support media relations activities, content creation, and public-facing communications as required
  • Coordinate employee, client, industry, and community events that strengthen engagement and brand recognition
  • Work cross-functionally across the organization to deliver creative communication solutions that support business objectives and enhance the employee experience
  • Monitor communication and marketing performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to continuously improve engagement and reach
Experience Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related discipline
  • Strong writing, editing, copywriting, copyediting, and proofreading skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva considered an asset
  • Experience with SharePoint, website management, and social media planning considered an asset
  • Experience in industrial, energy, construction, or technical environments is an asset
Additional Requirements
  • Based in downtown Calgary, Alberta
  • Occasional travel to Rocky View office required (not accessible by public transit)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
