MacDonald Search Group has been asked by our premium spirit client to recruit an Area Sales Manager to drive growth across the Western GTA.
This role is focused on managing both retail and on-premise accounts, executing brand strategies, and building market share through strong in-market presence and relationship management.
Some of what you will do:
- Manage a territory of retail and on-premise accounts to drive distribution, volume, display, and menu placements
- Execute staff training, tastings, and consumer education initiatives to build brand awareness and engagement
- Present business cases and negotiate with customers to achieve ROI and performance targets
- Build strong relationships with customers, trade partners, and local influencers to support long-term growth
- Leverage CRM and sales tools to track performance and identify opportunities for expansion
- Represent the brand at events, trade shows, and activations to drive visibility and loyalty
- 2–5 years of sales experience in beverage alcohol or CPG
- Strong understanding of the Ontario market, including LCBO and AGCO regulations
- Proven ability to manage accounts and drive results in a territory-based role
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage budgets and priorities independently
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools (e.g., EZ Focus)
