Mechanical Engineer ($30–$40/hour)
Full-time | Day Shift
A leading manufacturer of custom commercial trailers is looking to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer who brings creativity, strong technical skills, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop trailer components using 2D and 3D CAD
- Translate 3D models into detailed 2D drawings
- Collaborate with production to ensure design feasibility
- Troubleshoot design and production challenges
- Maintain accurate documentation and project timelines
Technical Requirements
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
- Experience with AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
- Familiarity with Nesting software (e.g., ProNest)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Solid mathematical and analytical abilities
