- Oversee all day-to-day pub operations (bar, floor, and kitchen coordination)
- Lead from the frontstep in during peak hours and keep service running smoothly
- Maintain high standards for cleanliness, efficiency, and service
- Recruit, train, and retain a strong team in a competitive labour market
- Build and manage schedules aligned with increased demand from the mining sector
- Create a performance-driven, team-oriented culture
- Deliver consistent, high-quality service for both local patrons and incoming workforce
- Manage customer issues quickly and professionally
- Maintain a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere
- Monitor sales, labour, and cost controls
- Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve margins
- Ensure full compliance with BC liquor regulations
- Enforce responsible alcohol service
- Maintain a safe environment for staff and customers
- Proven experience managing a pub, bar, or restaurant
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Experience in high-volume or camp/mining-related environments is an asset
- Solid understanding of scheduling, inventory, and cost control
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and peak seasonal periods
