310J Trailer Mechanic
Location: Burlington, ON Salary: Afternoon 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM (40 hrs/week; minimal overtime)

Key Responsibilities: 310J Trailer MechanicPerform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and reactive repairs on tank trailers and heavy trucksRepair air, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, brake, and suspension systemsAssemble hydraulic and pneumatic circuitsPerform welding and fabrication: oxy-fuel, arc, MIG, soldering, and gas weldingMaintain wheel, brake, and chassis systemsContribute to overall shop operations, safety, and compliance with Ontario inspection standardsWork on a fleet of 300+ tankers and trailers

This is a full-time on-site position in Burlington, ON, with an afternoon shift from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM (40 hours/week, minimal overtime).
The salary is $45.50 per hour with a shift premium for nights, and benefits include RRSP/pension match, health and dental coverage, and tool/boot allowances.
Applicants should have 2–3 years of hands-on mechanical experience (apprentices are acceptable) and the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy trucks and trailers.
Responsibilities include diagnostics, preventive maintenance, repairs on tank trailers and heavy trucks, repairing air, hydraulic, electrical, brake, and suspension systems, assembling hydraulic/pneumatic circuits, welding and fabrication, and maintaining wheel and chassis systems.
Candidates need a valid 310J or 310T license or be a registered apprentice; on-site training is provided for tank trailer experience if needed.
