Essential Functions:
- Coordinate and support full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and communication with hiring managers and candidates
- Manage onboarding processes, including offer letters, background checks, drug screening, new hire documentation, and orientation activities Responsible for offboarding, scheduling exit interviews, obtaining asset lists and finalizing employee departure and advising payroll accordingly
- Maintains various HR related records, such as files, payroll reporting, HR payroll systems, etc.
- May provide back-up support to the current payroll and benefits personnel, and learn all aspects of payroll processing for both Canada and US.
- Create or revise job descriptions as required
- Assist with the creation, revision, and release of HR policies, procedures, and forms in accordance with quality document control processes.
- Responsible for updating the organizational chart and HR documents on the company intranet, etc.
- Provide administrative support to HR team as needed
- Learn and utilize HR-related tools, systems, applications and software.
- Support company training initiatives and related projects
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and related recruitment tools
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and ADP Total Source, an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organization skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to act with integrity and professionalism
- Understand and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Strong computer skills (word, excel, power point, outlook)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 1–2 years of progressive HR experience with generalist exposure (preferred)
