Position: Wildlife Manager

Job Duties:
· Coordinate and oversee wildlife service projects across residential, commercial, and strata properties, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
· Lead and supervise a team of wildlife technicians carrying out inspections, exclusion system installations, repairs, and preventative building protection work.
· Assign daily tasks, plan work schedules, and support technicians in completing projects involving wildlife exclusion systems such as screening, sealing entry points, chimney caps, netting, soffit repairs, roofline work, and bird deterrent installations.
· Conduct site visits to assess scope of work, confirm access requirements, and ensure technicians have the appropriate tools, materials, and equipment for each job.
· Review completed work to verify quality, safety compliance, and adherence to company procedures and regulatory requirements.
· Provide guidance and on-the-job training to technicians related to installation methods, ladder safety, working at heights, equipment use, and safe work practices.
· Address on-site issues as they arise and work with technicians to resolve technical or scheduling challenges.
· Communicate with strata councils, property managers, and homeowners to explain findings, recommended solutions, installation approaches, timelines, and maintenance considerations.
· Prepare estimates, service reports, photographs, and follow-up recommendations, and assist with planning job costs and work schedules.
· Ensure wildlife service operations comply with local regulations, environmental guidelines, WorkSafeBC requirements, and company safety policies.
· Maintain service documentation and records for internal tracking, quality control, and client reporting.
· Support management with the development of wildlife service offerings, pricing structures, and operational improvements.
· Perform hands-on installation or repair work when required to support technicians, demonstrate techniques, or assist with complex or time-sensitive tasks.
Position Requirements:
· Minimum secondary school education.
· Provincial pesticide license.
· Valid driver's license (Class 5) with clean abstract.
· 2 years of related work experience, including experience with the following:
- Wildlife exclusion systems (mesh, one-way doors, sealing entry points)
- Wildlife control, pest management, property maintenance, or a related trade.
- Experience supervising field staff, technicians, or crews.
- Hands-on experience with animal exclusion, trapping, inspections, and structural repairs.
- Assist with estimating job costs and planning work schedules.
- Knowledge of local BC wildlife species (raccoons, skunks, birds, rodents, etc.).
- Familiarity with safety regulations, ladder safety, and working at heights.
