Security Officer - Day Patrols

Securiguard is seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to join our team in the Kitimat area. This full-time position involves conducting daily patrols in support of one of our valued client partnerships.

• Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

• Schedule: 8 hr shifts, Monday - Friday

• Location: Kitimat, BC

• Vehicle: Company fleet vehicle provided for patrol duties

• Residency: Candidates residing in Kitimat are preferred, as travel time to and from the worksite is unpaid.

Licensing & Qualifications

• Valid BC Security Worker Licence (required)

• Valid BC Class 5 Driver's Licence (required) with clean drivers abstract

• Occupational First Aid (OFA) Basic certification (an asset)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Professional, customer-focused approach

• Ability to observe, assess, and report unusual or concerning activity

• Comfortable completing electronic reports using a smartphone

• Sound judgment and a calm, respectful approach to challenging situations

• Ability to work independently and remain alert throughout shifts

• Ability to safely operate a company fleet vehicle

• Ability to reliably report for scheduled shifts

• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods during 12-hour shifts

• Competitive hourly compensation of $22.00/hr
