Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook items according to recipes
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including stoves, mixers, etc
- Prepare and season ingredients
- Monitor food quality and temperatures, following food safety regulations
- Coordinate food preparation with staff
- Maintain a clean workstation and kitchen area
- Assist with inventory management
- Follow food health and safety guidelines
- Perform other kitchen duties
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cook experience is beneficial
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for long hours
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Availability for shifts, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
- Food handling certification is preferred
- Culinary coursework may be an asset
- A certificate in Logistics is preferred
