Own the full cycle of internal accounting functions, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and actionable insights.
Deliver monthly financial packages, including income statements, cash flow reports, and balance sheets to executive leadership.
Prepare detailed corporate metrics and KPIs that align with sales, production, and growth targets.
Lead the preparation and presentation of financials for year-end audits and strategic planning sessions.
Partner with the Sales, Manufacturing teams to provide data-driven insights that enhance product costing, pricing strategies, and material sourcing decisions.
Deliver proactive financial analysis to support regional sales strategy and operational alignment.
Design and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
Develop and maintain financial controls, audit trails, and risk management policies.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities in Canada, the US, and the EU.
Lead corporate tax compliance and manage relationships with external accounting and audit firms.
Manage all banking relationships, including cash management, credit facilities, and treasury operations.
Ensure optimal liquidity while supporting strategic capital investment decisions.
CPA designation.
5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing, chemicals, or multi-entity environments.
Demonstrated ability to move beyond transactional work to deliver strategic financial leadership.
Proven ability to lead systems implementation, process improvement, and financial transformation.
Strong understanding of Canadian, U.S., and EU accounting standards, tax regulations, and cross-border financial reporting.
Experience supporting sales, operations, or R&D is a strong asset.
