About Us

Profound Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing is an installer of heating, ventilation and plumbing systems located in Corbeil and servicing the Nipissing district in mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in new house construction and home renovations. We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Licensed Electrician.

What you will do

As a licensed Electrician, you will be required to:

• Completely wire new homes and commercial builds from start to finish while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Troubleshoot service calls for both residential and commercial.
• Devising viable plans for electrical installations.
• Laying conduit in walls, temporary partitions, and other concealed areas.
• Inspecting and maintaining existing electrical systems.
• Ensuring that the electrical system in buildings (both residential and commercial) complies with local electrical codes and safety standards.
• Providing preliminary planning, repair, upgrade, and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Training and supervising new hires on the intricacies of electrical installation standards.
• Interpreting and reading blueprints and electrical drawings.

What you will bring

• 5+ years of experience as a fully licensed 309A Electrician with residential and commercial construction experience.
• Completion of a 9,000hour electrical apprenticeship program, hold a valid 309A license.
• Extensive knowledge of the Canadian Electric Code, as well as local codes and ordinances.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings.
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record.

• Must be legally able to work in Canada at the time of application.

• Must be physically capable of performing all work required of the position, i.e. occasional lifting of 15 kg up to shoulder height, frequent bending, occasional squatting/kneeling, working inside and outside in all types of weather within environments that can be dusty and/or slippery.
• Able to prioritize changing and conflicting priorities while meeting deadlines and working under pressure.
• Must have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Must have outstanding customer service skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to understand/learn new technologies.
• Very punctual and reliable.
• Able to work in a team environment and independently.
• Maintain the company vehicle to a neat, clean, and safe standard.
