Armour Transportation Systems is currently hiring a Professional Shunter to join our team. This position requires operating trucks equipped with manual transmissions, and therefore a Class 1 Manual License is essential.
As a Professional Shunter, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers within the yard, supporting our operational flow and ensuring timely positioning for loading and unloading. What You'll Do:

• Safely Shunt trailers within the yard and between dock doors
• Operate manual transmission trucks
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

What You'll Need to Drive with team Armour:

• Valid Class 1 Manual License and a clean driver's abstract
• Ability to operate a minimum 18-speed manual transmission
• Previous yard shunting experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
