COMPENSATION

Starting at $28.81 per hour

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As our Process Supervisor, you'll lead a team of lab technicians, wastewater operators, and maintenance staff to ensure our anodizing processes run safely, efficiently, and without compromising quality. You'll play a key role in optimizing workflows, maintaining compliance, and driving improvements across the plant. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys mentoring a team, solving complex problems, and making a real impact on daily operations

The duties and responsibilities of the Process Supervisor are detailed below, but not limited to the following:

  • Lead your team with our core values: people first, mutual respect, data-driven decisions, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure effluent is compliant with the York Region sewer bylaw regulations as determined by routine sampling and analysis.
  • Monitor process baths and equipment to keep production running smoothly.
  • Conduct daily audits to monitor adherence to anodizing, chemical testing and wastewater treatment procedures.
  • Collect, analyze, and communicate process data to maintain quality standards
  • Troubleshoot quality defects and assist in problem solving to maintain the highest level of quality.
  • Manage chemical and consumable inventories.
  • Coordinate departmental maintenance with Production and Maintenance Supervisor
  • Audit processes and recommend improvements to the Plant Manager.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, verify payroll, and support Health and Safety investigations.
  • Provide coverage for Production Supervisors as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned from time to time as required by the business.

Requirements

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

Education/Experience

  • Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing leadership role (preferred)
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma program (recommended)
  • Experience in anodizing or other metal finishing
  • Knowledge of chemistry
  • Proficient in computers including MS Office platform.

Technical Skills/Competence

  • Organized, able to manager multiple priorities
  • Strong communicator (written & verbal) Fair, consistent, and accountable Goal-oriented and motivated to learn
  • Ensures follow-through on all responsibilities and commitments Strong knowledge of production processes and company systems
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Able to work flexible hours
