Position: Machinist
Wage: $36.36 plus weekly Incentive

Location: Harrow, ON (On-site)
Shift: 6am-2pm.
As a Maintenance Machinist, you will play a key role in supporting both the machine shop and the plant floor. This role is a hybrid between a traditional machinist and a maintenance technician, with a heavy focus on manual machining and in-house part fabrication.
Promote and follow safe work practices in accordance with OSHA and company safety procedures (e.g., LOTO).
Receive job assignments from the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager and carry them through to completion.
Interpret drawings and sketches, plan machining procedures, and make necessary layout work or sketches of parts/assemblies.
Determine dimensions and tolerances by reading blueprints or measuring existing parts. Perform required calculations and select appropriate cutting tools, speeds/feeds, and machining methods.
Set up and operate manual and CNC machines (lathes, Bridgeport/manual mills, grinders, drill presses, Fadal CNC) to produce replacement or new parts to required specifications.
Select and use proper material stock, minimizing waste where possible.
Prepare reports and documentation of work performed; make recommendations on design improvements, cost reductions, or alternative material choices.
Dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery and components (e.g., gears, shafts, bushings, sprockets, rollers) with precision to ensure proper function and minimize wear.
Support occasional welding/fabrication (small weldments, filling defects before machining, or tooling repair).
Work primarily in the machine shop (about 80%) with some floor work (20%) as needed.
Available to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Must haves:
- 5+ Years Experience in an Industrial Environment
- Experience with Fadal
- Experience with Lathes, Drill Press,Grinders, Manual Mills
- Experience Welding (Mig & Stick)
