General Maintenance Worker

Position Overview:
The Part-Time General Maintenance Worker provides essential maintenance, repair, and general upkeep services for company facilities and properties. This role ensures that all areas are well-maintained, safe, and functional, supporting the smooth operation of the business.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Facility Maintenance & Repairs:
    • Perform routine repairs and maintenance tasks, including fixing drywall, flooring, doors, windows, and fixtures.
    • Address minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues as needed.
    • Repair or replace damaged equipment and amenities.
  2. Preventative Maintenance:
    • Conduct periodic inspections of facilities to identify and address potential issues before they become problems.
    • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of storage areas for tools and supplies.
  3. General Upkeep:
    • Perform landscaping, snow removal, and seasonal maintenance tasks as requested.
    • Ensure common areas, office spaces, and retail locations are clean, safe, and presentable.
  4. Support Projects & Installations:
    • Assist with setup or teardown of equipment, fixtures, or displays.
    • Support ongoing renovation or improvement projects as directed.
  1. Equipment & Tool Management:
    • Maintain and care for tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
    • Report any damaged or malfunctioning tools/equipment for repair or replacement.
  2. Ad hoc Tasks:
    • Complete any additional maintenance or repair duties assigned by management to support daily operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven general repair or maintenance experience.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Access to vehicle and a G Driver's license.

Job Location:

· Beyond Wireless Head Office – located in Sudbury, ON.

· Stack Brewing – located in Greater Sudbury, ON.

· Adventure 365 – located in Sudbury, ON.

Hourly Rate of Pay:

· $25 to $35 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Hours:

· 10 to 24 hours per week

This role provides vital support to ensure our facilities function smoothly and remain safe, clean, and welcoming.
