Position: Business Development Representative
Hours/Week: Full-time
Compensation:
  • Strong base salary commensurate with experience plus commission

Reports To: President and General Manager
Territory: Fort McMurray and Surrounding Areas
Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Representative to lead commercial and residential business growth initiatives in the Fort McMurray region. This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional with a passion for building relationships and driving sales.
Responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships with current and potential clients through B2B, organized events, and cold calling
  • Organize and schedule a calendar of consistent Business-To-Business visits
  • Utilize marketing technology software to upload contacts to the CRM, send email campaigns, customize and print marketing collateral, track sales calls, leads, referrals, and notes
  • Collaborate with the franchisor, read weekly communications, and schedule consistent meetings with the Canadian Marketing Team
  • Manage social media accounts, post relative content and graphics, monitor all reviews and feedback and reply/ follow-up accordingly
  • Schedule and attend meetings with prospective clients
  • Coordinate and manage community and charitable events
  • Schedule, manage, and present Continuing Education courses
  • Research local trade shows and coordinate Paul Davis booth set-up
  • Attend training courses and annual conference seminars as requested
  • Any other duties and responsibilities may be assigned on a needed basis
  • Generate weekly and monthly sales reporting
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align strategies
  • Recruit, coach and lead team members

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Office and field-based work
  • Local travel
  • Occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs.)
  • Frequent use of office equipment

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two or more years sales and marketing experience
  • Franchise, restoration, construction/home improvement, and/or insurance industry experience ideal
