Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Service Manager in supervising and scheduling electrical service technicians.
- Coordinate daily service calls, ensuring proper resource allocation and timely response.
- Communicate with clients to understand service needs, provide updates, and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare and review service work orders, invoices, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Support the service team with technical guidance and troubleshooting as required.
- Assist with estimating small service jobs and change orders.
- Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment used in service projects.
- Monitor team performance and provide input for training and development.
- Assist in maintaining relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service operations.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent trade certification (309A Electrician License is an asset).
- 3+ years of experience in the electrical industry; prior leadership or coordination experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and service work.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of service management software is an asset.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.
