Paladin Security is looking for dedicated and professional Security Guards to join our healthcare team at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital. This is a temporary full-time opportunity where you'll play a key role in keeping patients, staff, and visitors safe while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Hourly Rate: $18.94/hour

• Conduct proactive and reactive patrols in a healthcare environment
• Respond calmly and effectively to incidents and emergencies
• Interact with the public to provide excellent customer service
• Write clear and detailed incident reports
• Enforce parking, smoking, and by-law policies
• Ensure policy awareness and compliance
• Investigate routine incidents and assist in investigations
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C Certificate
• Proof of at least double COVID-19 vaccination
• Immunization records (MMR, Varicella, TB Step 1 & 2)
• Valid G Driver's License and reliable vehicle in good repair
• Ability to commute to Kingston for pre-deployment training
• Able to work across all 4 QHC facilities (Belleville, Trenton, Picton, Bancroft)
• Clean-shaven or able to pass N95 Mask Fit Test
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills

• Certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)/Willingness to complete Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program (covered by Paladin with a 6-month commitment)
