STATUS: Hourly – Bargaining Unit CLOSING DATE: 2025.08.25
SUMMARY: Reports to Paint Line Manager. Responsible for inspection of all paint line product to ensure compliance and quality to standard procedure.
ROLE:

• Perform product and process quality audits on Painted Product
• Inspect in-process and final products from the paint line
• Report audit findings using quality documents where applicable
• Interpretation of paint and weld procedure data sheets, work instructions, work orders and other manufacturing documents
• Knowledge and application of welding symbols and engineering drawings
• Knowledge and application of Paint line processes and inspection / verification techniques.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years previous experience in inspection and quality environment
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret engineering drawings and other manufacturing documents
• Must have experience in quality inspection, audit and metal fabrication/powder coating processes
• Computer skills are an asset
• Minimum grade 12 or equivalent education
• Fluent in English

VACANCIES: 1 Day Shift (7:00am-3:30pm)
RATE: $24.58

• $24.83 - Subject to assessment of skills and qualifications by Active following a 60 working days probationary period
• Shifts may vary
• Shift Premium where applicable
