Salary: $70,000-$90,000 CAD + Bonus Potential + Benefits

Customer Program Manager – Manufacturing Description

Our client in manufacturing is seeking a Customer Program Manager to serve as the primary link between customers and internal teams, ensuring high-volume programs run smoothly and are delivered on time and on budget. In this customer-focused role, you'll manage day-to-day communication, act as the escalation point when needed, track hundreds of active SKUs using internal systems and team updates, and coordinate with production departments to keep orders moving forward. You'll proactively identify and address potential delays while mentoring junior project managers and supporting process improvements. While the role doesn't require deep technical expertise, it does demand strong organizational and problem-solving skills along with the ability to coach others on effective customer communication. This is an opportunity to join a newly established department where you'll help shape processes for scalable growth and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced environment.

Customer Program Manager – Manufacturing Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned client accounts
• Communicate customer expectations across internal departments
• Monitor 400–500+ active SKUs to ensure deadlines are met and delays flagged early
• Review production schedules to spot risks and work with teams on recovery plans
• Accurately track project performance through spreadsheets, internal systems, and reports
• Coordinate internal teams and external vendors for project execution
• Facilitate team meetings to align goals and resolve blockers
• Build strong customer relationships to drive repeat business
• Coach team members on communication and escalation best practices
• Recommend improvements to tracking processes and customer touchpoints

Customer Program Manager – Manufacturing Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer-facing roles in manufacturing, logistics, or a related industry required
• Proven ability to manage high-volume orders/projects in a fast-paced environment required
• Excellent English communication (verbal and written) skills required
• Proficiency with MS Excel (pivot tables), spreadsheets, and project management tools required
• Strong problem-solving skills and confidence discussing issues with customers required
• Detail-oriented with the ability to quickly assess priorities and adapt
