What You'll Be Doing

As a Field Service Technician, you'll be the go-to expert supporting our customers and internal teams with technical challenges. From troubleshooting mechanical and electrical control systems to supporting installations, trade shows, and product development – you'll play a key role in ensuring Hörmann's access solutions perform at their best.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

????️ Providing technical support (French & English) via phone, email, and in person.

⚡ Diagnosing and resolving electrical/mechanical issues (PLCs, relay logic, inverters).

???? Supporting field operations (installations, repairs, maintenance).

???? Assisting with warranty claims and technical documentation.

???? Participating in product testing and prototyping with Engineering and R&D.

???? Supporting marketing initiatives like trade shows and display setup.

???? Helping to create manuals and training resources.

✅ Following all health & safety procedures – your safety is our priority.

What You Bring to the Table

Languages: Fluent in French and English (spoken & written) – required.

???? Education: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technician Diploma (or equivalent).

???? Experience: Hands-on experience in field service, technical support, or customer service.

⚙️ Skills:

    • Excellent knowledge of control systems, PLCs, and mechanical systems.

    • Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.

    • Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and other technical software.

    • Comfortable working independently, traveling when needed, and juggling priorities.
