Field Service Industrial Technician

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Crane & Hoist Repair Experience

· Able to work at heights

· Able to lift 70 lbs.

· Excellent Communication Skills

· Direct contact with Customers

· Valid NJ driver's license, Good Driving Record

· HS Diploma or equivalent

· Able to travel to customer locations occasionally overnight

· Must reside within 40 miles of Clarksburg, NJ

· 2 + years of experience with exposure to industrial material moving equipment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · Prior Experience working on hoists and or/ overhead cranes

· Vocational diploma or technical certificate

· Veterans/ armed service experience

SUMMARY & DUTIES:

· Evaluate, repair & perform scheduled maintenance on overhead material handling equipment.

· Troubleshot breakdowns

· Contribute to system installs

· Manage customer paperwork

· Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance & professional demeanor

· Excellent communication skills

The successful candidate is an energetic prior military or industrial worker with the skills & specialties described above. Knows how to perform repair & troubleshoot Cranes & Hoists & material moving equipment, or can be trained with strong discipline and able to take instruction & take verbal & written commands, and is a quick learner & can hit the ground running. Someone who can work in the outdoor elements in weather when necessary, and can physically perform at climbing & heights & work safely

PRIOR JOB TRAINING

· Osha 10 certification

· Forklift certification

· Competent people fall protection training

· Overhead crane inspection training

· Variable frequency drive installation & programming

· Manufacturer's hoist inspection & repair certifications

Note: Training will be given during the 180-day orientation period as the candidate is learning on the job
