We are looking for general laborers for our client in Seaforth, ON. This facility manufactures concrete sound barriers for highways and expressways. This position pays $21.89 plus bonuses. This is a day shift with the opportunity for overtime!

Job Duties:

• Clean, set up, and strip molds
• Place and secure rebar or mesh according to drawings or instructions
• Place, level, rake, and screed concrete in molds
• Complete finishing tasks such as troweling and edging
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Operate overhead cranes for stripping products and pouring concrete
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including molds, tools, and equipment
• Support coworkers and contribute to team productivity
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the Lead Hand or Supervisor
• Perform lockouts and safe handling of equipment and materials
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs regularly
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Able to read and follow work instructions and basic shop drawings
• Strong attention to detail and focus on producing quality work
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Willing to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
• Experience with concrete finishing, blueprint reading, forklifts, or cranes is an asset but not required
