Are you the type of person who thrives on keeping things running like a well-oiled machine (literally)? Were on the hunt for an Assistant Service Manager who can bring energy, organization, and a customer-first attitude to our fast-paced Service Department. Youll be the right-hand to our Service Manager, helping drive productivity, profitability, and an awesome work environment for our crewand keeping our customers smiling.

What you'll be doing:

• Be the Service Managers go-to partner in daily operations.
• Deliver prompt, reliable, and top-quality vehicle service to both internal and external customers (we like happy customers as much as we like shiny, well-serviced cars).
• Keep an eagle eye on profitabilitymaking sure our department hits targets for both gross and net profit.
• Supercharge the productivity of our talented service technicians.
• Keep our service team alert, trained, and ready to roll.
• Match jobs to technicians based on skill and resource availability (youre basically the pit crew chief).
• Check work-in-progress to make sure were hitting quality and timing goals.
• Jump in to help technicians troubleshoot tricky service jobs.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates for internal jobs and wreck repairs.
• Set up and follow clear processes for handling all repair orderswhether customer-paid, warranty, or internal.
• Work with the Parts Manager to make sure technicians always have what they need, when they need it.
• Master our service and parts management computer system.
• Maintain a service area thats clean, organized, and efficient (because a tidy shop is a happy shop).

What we're looking for:

• A natural leader who knows how to inspire a team.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle service operations (you speak mechanic and customer fluently).
• Excellent organizational skillsyour to-do list fears you.
• Cool under pressure with top-notch problem-solving skills.
• Solid computer skills and experience with service/parts management systems (bonus points if youve mastered one already).
• You must have a valid drivers license
