Shipper/Receiver
- Review job tickets and prepare shipments by creating packing slips with Label Traxx ensuring duly completion of all required information.
- Wrap skids for outgoing shipments according to customers specification.
- Co-ordinate pick-up of shipment with the transport company ensuring all documentation is duly signed and paperwork is attached to shipments.
- Cross references prepared outgoing shipment with paperwork to ensure accuracy.
- Close all open job tickets for invoicing.
- Receives and unloads incoming shipments from transport vehicle.
- Verifies the quantity received by matching with the purchase order and packing slip, and examining the condition of the goods.
- Enter incoming shipments into Label Traxx by matching up quantity received with quantity ordered in the system. Notifying the purchaser of any deviations.
- Stores incoming material according to pre-assigned rack locations.
- Distributes material to the press according to production schedule
- Arrange skids with cores by size and stores on to racks.
- Keeps abreast of incoming customer supplied product (e.g. booklets, plates, dies etc.) and notifies the CSR and Planner/Buyer when goods arrive.
- Communicates with front office to verify special instructions on the job ticket e.g. CFC and freight.
- Prepares bill of ladings and custom papers as required.
- Receive returned products from customers, place in quarantine and communicate to
- the QA department.
- Prepares finished product for shipment by placing in boxes and labeling accordingly.
- Remove Safety Data Sheets from incoming shipment and submit to the Production Manager.
- Performs any other work assignment(s) related to production.
Material Handler
- Places material and supplies in stock, recording in Labeltraxx the location of inventory.
- Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Returns material and supplies from production by verifying materials, supplies and quantities and updating information in the system.
- Organize cores and maintain in order of sizes.
- Prepare finished product for shipment by identifying customer and ensuring correct labelling and packing in boxes.
- Makes boxes for packaging finished product.
- Assist Shipper with various tasks as required.
- Uses pump pallet or electric forklift to lift and move pallets.
- Off-loading incoming shipments from transport vehicle.
- Match incoming shipments packing slip against actual material received and communicates discrepancies with the supervisor
- Distributes material to machines according to production schedules
- Collects unused material from machines, returns to storage and updates the computer system.
- Collaborates with Purchasing on matters concerning the control and re-ordering of material.
- Learn all applicable entries in Labeltraxx.
- Perform duties in accordance with health and safety procedures
- Acts as back-up to shipper and performs a variety of other duties as requested by the Shipper and management.
- Other duties as assigned in the plant.

Education & Qualifications:
- Order Picking (up to 50lbs)
- Fort truck / Reach Truck license or experience
- Pump Truck operation
- Walkie operations
- Computer experience
- Skid wrapping machine
