The Role
The Assembler is responsible for assembly of various equipment for heating systems for customers across North America.
Thermon Manufacturing Facility is located at 2721 Plymouth Drive, Oakville, ON L6H 5R5.
What You Will Do
Specific Responsibilities:
- Review traveler/job package
- Review and understand drawings (or blueprints)
- Find and use proper pressures and fluid
- Make sure parts are free of damage before use
- Test equipment or any parts necessary (for example hydro test vessels)
- Conduct Hydro static testing, helium, silicon and pneumatic testing of the product in proper sequence as instructed by operation date on paperwork or instructed by supervisor.
- Test and make sure that product is correct to all specifications provided on Job Traveler and ITP and provide TSSA and QC tests.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Standing in long hours as well as bending when necessary
Knowledge & Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Hydro testing experience is an asset
- Working at Manufacturing environment is an advantage
- Assembly experience is preferred
