Project Manager - Building Envelope

Location: Western Canada (On-site)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects from start to finish. You will work with all levels of personnel-from laborers to owners-ensuring projects are delivered successfully, profitably, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities -

  • Project Leadership & Coordination

  • Oversee all aspects of assigned construction projects.

  • Ensure successful completion, profitability, and client satisfaction.

  • Maintain daily communication with all parties to ensure smooth operations.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with construction partners.

  • Quality & Safety Oversight

  • Ensure work is installed to specifications and meets quality standards.

  • Enforce job site safety practices and attend site safety/coordination meetings.

  • Technical & Documentation Management

  • Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications.

  • Manage RFIs, shop drawings, and design-related details.

  • Attend walkthroughs and inspections as required.

  • Financial & Scheduling Control

  • Monitor project progress and job costs to keep projects on track.

  • Plan and schedule work to maximize efficiency.

  • Order materials and consumable items as needed.

  • Team & Subcontractor Management

  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and trade partners.

  • Review daily reports from Site Foremen and Superintendents.

  • Communicate strategies to ensure optimal performance across the team.

Qualifications -

  • Several years of experience in commercial project management or the building envelope industry.

  • Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and construction best practices.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and related software.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong understanding of job site safety protocols.

Experience Required:

Project Management: 5 years (preferred)
