We are currently seeking a Tower Crane Operator to join our fast-paced, challenging project in Metro Vancouver. Applicants from the Metro Vancouver / Lower Mainland area are encouraged to apply.

Duties/Responsibilities
Operate crane to lift, move, or place construction equipment and materials
Follow safe work procedures for lifting, lowering, or moving loads
Understand lifting and load-bearing capacities of the tower crane
Secure loads with suitable lifting equipment
Communicate with the operator via two-way radio and/or hand signals
Signal and direct trucks for loading and offloading
Inspect rigging equipment
Rig in decks and fly tables
Inspect crane and calculate capacities
Fly tables
Assemble and dismantle cranes
Perform repairs and maintenance
Working Conditions
Overtime after 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
Overtime and weekend work as required
Two paid 15-minute breaks and one ½-hour unpaid lunch break daily

Manual dexterity, mechanically inclined, and physically fit
Requirements
3–6 years' experience operating tower cranes
2–4 years of tower crane rigging experience
Journeyman Tower Crane Operator Certificate or provincial equivalent
Rigging ticket (asset)
Fall Protection ticket
CSTS (required)
WHMIS (required)
