Job Title: Gig Developer – Web App Feature Enhancements

Pay: $40 – $65/hour (based on experience)

Location: Remote or Hybrid (Vancouver, BC preferred)

About Us
Invictus Northwest Group is a fast-growing company operating across multiple industries, including snow and ice management, paving, and sport court construction. Our in-house Invictus Operating System (IOS) is the central hub we use to dispatch crews, track weather, manage POs, send notifications, issue invoices, and more. We're looking for a skilled Gig Developer to help improve and expand the features of this platform.

The Role
You will work directly with our operations and leadership team to enhance our existing web app, ensuring it is faster, more intuitive, and better integrated with our other data sources (including YETI).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy new features to our current Invictus Operating System (IOS) web app
• Enhance modules for:
  • Crew dispatching and scheduling
  • Live and historical weather data display
  • PO (Purchase Order) creation, approval, and tracking
  • Event history logs and analytics
  • Client notifications and communication tracking
  • Invoice generation and management
• Integrate with third-party systems and data sources (e.g., YETI, weather APIs)
• Optimize performance and user experience across devices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system issues promptly
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand operational needs and translate them into functional features

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Web App Developer (Full-Stack preferred)
• Proficiency in database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience integrating APIs and external data sources
• Familiarity with dispatch systems, workflow automation, or field service management platforms is an asset
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills

Contract Details

• Gig / Project-based (with potential for ongoing work)
• $40 – $65/hour based on experience
• Flexible hours; must be responsive to project timelines and communication
