THE POSITION

The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in driving growth by generating and qualifying leads, booking meetings, and supporting territory development alongside the Regional Account Executive. This role is ideal for a motivated, results-driven individual with a passion for securing new business, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

HOW YOU WILL BE MAKING AN IMPACT

  • Build relationships with school districts, dealers, and State Directors to promote the LED safety light division's products.
  • Qualify leads and route opportunities to the Regional Account Executive for closure.
  • Follow up with customers to maintain engagement and deliver exceptional service.
  • Identify and develop new customer accounts to expand market share.
  • Use marketing and sales tools to uncover customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Track sales activities and prepare regular progress reports using web-based applications.
  • Apply consultative, solutions-based selling techniques.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
  • Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities.
  • Cultivate relationships with key decision makers and influencers across all organizational levels.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU REQUIRE

  • College or university education preferred.
  • Minimum one year of inside sales experience; familiarity with OEMs, industrial producers, dealer networks, or the pupil transportation industry is an asset.
  • Proven success in high-volume outbound calling, cold calling, and lead generation.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, internet research, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communicator with professional, courteous, and confident presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and time management skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to integrity and teamwork.
  • Ability able to travel within Canada, the USA, and internationally as needed.
