About Us

Montessori Kids by OneHealth is an innovative therapy and education centre blending Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) with Montessori principles. We specialize in supporting neurodiverse children through 1:1 therapy, small group programming, and whole-child development. Our collaborative, family-centered team is grounded in evidence-based practice, compassion, and respect for each child's unique strengths.

Position Overview

The Team Lead role is ideal for a seasoned ABA therapist or senior instructor with leadership experience in clinical and therapy environments. You will oversee daily programming blocks, providing real-time clinical direction, managing staff flow and schedules, and ensuring program fidelity.

As Team Lead, you will act as the point person during centre programming, ensuring smooth daily operations, accurate therapist-to-youth matching, consistent data collection, and responsive care for both staff and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1:1 direct therapy using ABA-based strategies with assigned youth.
  • Lead daily team huddles; assign therapists to youth based on skill, goals, and needs.
  • Manage therapist schedules and coverage in real time; adjust for absences or flow changes.
  • Coordinate room setup, therapy binders, logs, and materials prior to sessions.
  • Ensure therapists complete accurate data collection, session clean-up, and documentation.
  • Provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback to Instructor Therapists.
  • Support functional assessments; assist in ABLLS-R, AFLS, and VB-MAPP scoring.
  • Monitor program integrity and flag concerns to the Clinical Supervisor.
  • Collaborate on Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Communicate with families as needed; support intake transitions for new clients.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients and supporting transition into programming.

Qualifications

  • 35 years of experience delivering ABA or IBI services.
  • Prior experience supervising or leading therapy teams required.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage the daily flow of the centre.
  • Experience in clinic-based programs preferred.
  • Post-secondary education in Behavioural Science, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field.
  • ABA Certificate, Autism & Behavioural Science diploma, or equivalent preferred.
  • Familiarity with ABLLS-R, AFLS, VB-MAPP, and behaviour tracking systems.
  • Comfort supporting toilet training, self-injurious behaviour (SIB), and aggression.
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check required.
