URGENT HIRE – General Labourer – Skid Steer & Mini Excavator experience

About the Role

We're looking for a General Labourer with 4–5 years of experience in interlock installation, concrete work, and operating stand-up skid steers and mini excavators. You're the kind of person who can jump in wherever needed — whether it's prepping a site, moving materials, assisting with installs, or keeping the job site clean and organized. You take pride in doing things right, work well with a team, and can keep up in a fast-paced environment.

This is an urgent hire — if you're selected, you'll start Tuesday.

Responsibilities

• Operate skid steers and mini excavators to move materials, load/unload, and assist with site prep.

• Perform hands-on tasks including:

  • Interlock installation

  • Concrete pours and finishing

  • Ground prep, grading, and backfilling

• Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.

• Assist with deliveries, logistics, and site organization.

• Maintain a safe, professional, and clean job site.

• Work with the team to complete tasks on time and to a high standard.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of hands-on construction experience (interlock and concrete work required).

• Skilled in operating stand-up skid steers and mini excavators.

• Physically capable of manual labour and equipment handling.

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Bonus Skills (Not Required):

• Experience with modular or prefab construction.

• Experience in basic plumbing or electrical work.
